Notion’s task management tool makes keeping track of work really easy and organized. We Honest Food Talks are an independent foodie media outlet that has been using Notion as a Project Management software for over two years now. We use it daily, and it’s helped us grow from a monthly readership of 10k+ readers to over 750k+ readers. We love Notion for its database linking functionality and collaboration features. As we are a media company, we handle a lot of rich content that needs to be precisely organized daily. Moreover, this rich content database is dynamically being tweaked by our team of writers, editors, SEOs, social media managers, etc. The downside of Notion is that onboarding a new team member may take longer than other tools, such as Trello or Asana. This is mainly due to Notion's wide variety of functions and features, making it slightly less intuitive for first-time users. According to Notion, this program serves as an elaborate writing tool. Content may be written, designed, and published in one centralized location. You can further enrich your works by including media items like videos, audio files, and photographs. If you're a freelancer who makes content for clients, you can provide those clients full access to read, comment, and even edit your work. You may manage the production process like a pro by using the included checklist, Kanban, gallery, and timeline views.

Do you want a table with all the tasks you have to do? Notion gives you that option, do you want to see the exact same tasks but in card format? Notion gives you that option too. Another important feature of Notion is its ability to be integrated with other convenient solutions like GitHub, Jira, Google Drive, Slack, and more. This allows us to create an entire ecosystem within the platform, so we don't have to leave it most of the time to do any task.

At CMO Consultant agency, we use Notion. Notion is a task manager, note-taking, and project planning app that offers many useful features. Actually, it combines many of the best parts of Google Docs,Excel, and Dropbox, along with lots of task-management and organizational tools. And it also lets you work with a huge variety of content types, and you can import data from other apps. I also like that it has a very intuitive interface and is easy to use. There isn’t much to dislike, except that it may appear to have a steep learning curve at first.

A perfect management tool

Our company(Solid Guides) is using Notion as collaborative software. It is a perfect management tool that facilitates team collaboration by offering multiple features and functionalities including project management, file sharing & collaboration, instant messaging, and much more. It focuses on transparency and saving time, ultimately increasing the productivity of teams. Pros: The software contains blocks for comments, todos, and notes. The comment feature is excellent and useful in case of an increased workload. There is a built-in wiki feature. You can add and trace entries, and for this purpose, there is an appropriate template for it. One of its best features is that it gives you complete control over what to share with your clients. Its dashboard is organized, smooth, functional, and clean from the distractions. Tags and notes are visible quickly. Cons: When the Sign-in option does not work as the Android and Windows, run very slowly, and it takes more than the required time. Text for maths, including equations, can not be written in the comments sections of the block. Writing these variables are necessary for engineers. Some of the essential features are missing in Notion, including calendar view other than month view. This software has no offline mode to be used as a desktop, and it can't be integrated with Google, hence no collection of due date information.

Its sufficient for a company our size

Pros: Flexible and lightweight. It doesn't give us a fixed structure as every project is usually different.  Cons: Having multiple tools for different stages things get lost or have to be copied. Having to export contacts into tools for marketing is a bit of an overhead, lack of structure means we come up with our own conventions which can be short-sighted. Overall Experience: Managed ok for the past 2 years, don't want to be baked into a specific workflow all the time so happy with what we have.
