Review Summary

Trello has been the most trusted project management and planning tool in my company - Inboard Skate because aside from its ease of use, I can efficiently track the progress of each task assigned through the movable and customizable cards. It's user-friendly surface makes it very uncomplicated to familiarize and utilize as well.

Review Summary

My company is using Trello for a year now and what makes it an ideal tool is that it's very intuitive and requires minimal training because it works just like a pinboard, where everyone assigned to different projects can comment on progress or new developments. Because of the pandemic, part of our staff works remotely and the other on-site. It's important to have tools like this that allow us to collaborate seamlessly and stay on top of different projects.

Review Summary

At WikiLawn Los Angeles Lawn Care, we actually use Trello for project tracking. While it's billed as a task tracking app, with a bit of organization it serves very well as a project tracking resource, too.

I'd say the best pros are the price (the pro/business version doesn't cost much), ease of use, the ability to use it on many different platforms and have it sync, and how interactive it is. Cons would be a lack of overall project view (though the calendar helps), no real project tracking metrics, and a more hands-on approach necessary than other apps.

Review Summary

This is Fred from AwesomeHoops and I have experience managing teams remotely which is always a challenge. With the current situation that we are in, I have explored different Project Tracking software and I find that Trello is the best for my needs.

Trello is a visual collaboration tool for planning your project on a task board. You can create boards, cards, and assign them to team members. I highly recommend it because it is fast and real-time. You can see the progress of critical tasks at a glance. It is also very intuitive and easy to navigate. The tasks can be quickly checked when they are completed. This is absolutely useful to remote managers like me to get a grasp of progress without having to do too many follow ups.

For my websites, I manage a team of freelance content writers and web developers. With the use of Trello, I have reduced the time I spend to distribute tasks and to track progress by about 30%. This allows me to channel my time savings to generate new ideas and find ways to improve my bottom line.

For small businesses, the free version is good enough if you have a single project. It allows up to 10 task boards and 10 MB per file attachment. If you have more complex project management requirements, the business class pricing is value for money as it allows API integrations, scheduled commands, and email notifications.

Review Summary

One of the project management tracking software our company uses is TRELLO.

At Printex, we use Trello because it helps us to track our projects and also organize our teamwork. Trello basically utilizes boards, lists, and cards that can be used to manage projects in a flexible way.

We usually assign cards to project team members and add due dates to track work by the contributor. What I like about is that it helps to keep our tasks organized by status to track progress eg Trello sends a mail to the user near the deadline to remind them about a task and when it is due, also when the task is not completed and the due date is not met, it displays “overdue” label on the card.

Also, you can make different lists, like a list for upcoming tasks, current tasks, and done tasks, and move the cards around under them to stay more organized and up to date.

PROS:

It's free. You can just sign in and start using it.

Real-time updates.

It can be used on any size of the screen i.e. web or mobile.

Simple UI

CONS:

Not for complex tasks.

There are a limited number of labels.

Cards are limited to one project

Trello has made it possible to maintain the workflow

Review Summary

At Stockarea, we use the tool Trello to assign and keep track of every project that we take up.

Trello has made it possible to maintain the workflow in the company through a virtual office in this pandemic situation.

Pros

In Trello, we are provided with utilities like boards, lists and cards that can be manipulated to assign and track projects making the team's work more comfortable.

With Trello, managers can oversee a project and individually assign tasks to specific members of the department by creating cards with task descriptions and timeframes.

Trello can also be used to set budgets and manage the expenses of a company. Cards can be used to enter the costs incurred, and limits can be fixed to maintain company budgets. Trello has helped us to have better control over our finances.

Cons

Trello has a disadvantage of relying on the internet for its functioning. Users without the internet cannot benefit from Trello as no offline facilities are available.

When the team grows and projects become more complex, managing all of the tasks over Trello becomes difficult.

Free for simple group organization.

Review Summary

Since the pandemic we've had to change a few things. We used to rely on email and face to face chats, which is ineffective anyways.

At Core Mountaineering, for a few months we switched all projects to Trello. It's an easy intuitive system to learn and it's web-based so everyone has access.

Project goals are put on "cards" with instructions on how to complete that objective.

Once completed, the card is moved in the next section, for the next person.

So far, we have no plans on changing tools. Trello has been fantastic

At resume.io, we believe that building a job-worthy resume should be a fast and simple process. Our mission is to help job seekers grow careers. We love helping people stand out in their job search and get hired faster.

Trello

Trello is a basic project management software that allows you to visualize project tasks on a cardboard-like dashboard that’s great for managing short and quick everyday assignments. It is free for personal use but for businesses you have to pay $9.99/month.

Pros

Simple task management on a cardboard

Creating unlimited task lists

Image and file sharing

Organizing lists by dates or priority

Commenting and collaboration

Real-time actions and updates

user-friendly platform

Cons

Difficult to handle big projects

Lower storage limit

You cannot review iterations

No Gantt chart

Only simple descriptions can be given

Although it fulfills all my requirements I do understand that if I had to manage bigger, more technical projects I might have faced some issues.

Review Summary

Pathfinder Alliance is a boutique digital marketing agency and we use TRELLO which we find the best project tracking software for our business for the following eight reasons.

1. It is user friendly and has ease of use with its boards, cards and lists.

2. You can customise the site with colours, icons, tags and labels therefore distinguishing it from other tools.

3. Being organised is key to our management. With just one look, you can clearly see in Trello the projects we are working on and track who is working on what and where in the completion cycle the project is

4. It's easy to collaborate and share files with others in the team

5. The archive feature is useful as one can bring projects back when required to review

6. It's online and one can work in real time .

7. It supports other cross platforms

8. We can generate and share reports.

Some of the cons of using this project management software is that it doesn't integrate with calendars and it is limited with how much detail one can provide. The free version only allows 10mb, however one can upgrade to 250mb by upgrading one's subscription.

Trello is our number one tool as it is suitable for smaller teams however as you grow, you may outgrow the use of this tool.

It\'s been an absolute lifesaver!

At Core Mountaineering, we use Trello, I manage a team of virtual employees with Trello. It's been an absolute lifesaver! Trello works in a way that I'm able to add articles that need to be written in a "card" format. When a new card is added the writers can move the card into the draft area. After they have completed the article they then move it to an editing area. My editor is able to see all the articles that need finale editing.

After the editor cleans up the article they attach a word document then move the card to be uploaded into wordpress by me.

I'm Jason Patel, former career ambassador at the George Washington University and the founder of Transizion, a college and career prep company that is focused on closing the Opportunity Divide in America. A part of our mission is to donate a portion of profits to low-income students and veterans who need college prep and career development assistance.

We're an entirely remote company. So at Transizion, we use Trello.

Trello is a project management software that we use to coordinate major and minor tasks, assignments, workflows, and other collaborative efforts. It's simple, intuitive, free, and multipurpose. The app works well and never crashes.

It really doesn't have any negatives, considering it's inexpensive but packs a punch, which makes it a tremendous value-add to any organization.

The best part about it is that it's intuitive. The interface is made up of boards, columns, blocks, cards, and buttons. Someone not well-versed with computers or software could still understand Trello in one sitting.

Finally, the customization is  great. You can add Unsplash images in your background, input due dates and reminders, and integrate your work with other software you use. It's stupid simple, which is what makes it so great.

Review Summary

At TheWordPoint, our team uses Trello as a remote collaboration tool. The pros are - it has a free version, it allows to track the working progress of each team member, check on what specific task they are working at the moment, leave feedback, you can organize the workflow the way you like - create boards, mark statuses, invite people to see your private board. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly.. The cons are that Trello has limited storage for data, which is 10 GB, and will be of better use for small projects.
