We at Tim Absalikov use Asana that allows us to split a project into sections and sub-lists, as well as a dashboard where we can see which part of the project has already been completed. As for the disadvantages of Asana, it is the inability to assign tasks to several users at once, interface delays with a large number of tasks, and there is no way to track time.

The first thing you need to take into consideration is the time commitment that you have in meeting your project's assigned deadlines. We at Workpuls are using Asana since few months now are in deeply liking it. If you're more relaxed about meeting required deadlines or if meeting them isn't required at all then something like Google Calendar will suffice. The benefits of using this free program is that it syncs across any device so users can access their schedules anywhere, plus its simplicity means errors can be quickly fixed without having setbacks on work too. You can get free or low-cost, or you can get expensive software for the enterprise space. Depending on what you're using it for, there are different levels of complexity that may be better suited to your needs. The simplest levels are often just high-level task schedulers with some other bells and whistles thrown in. More complex ones often include resource allocation tools, risk management, vendor contracts which enable you to manage all aspects of a job including payments and logistics, company hierarchies so you know where everyone fits in the pecking order etc.

The project planning software that my company currently use the most is Asana, and it’s proven to be a great help for nearly all of my projects. It keeps me and my teammates engaged and on track while allowing us to stay very organized. What I like the most about Asana is the concise way in which the platform allows you to track a project from creation to completion. It’s a very intuitive way of setting up a project and allows me to plan out all the details well ahead of time. A disadvantage would be that it doesn’t offer much in terms of tracking financials, and I typically end up using a different platform for that end of things. This is a minor downside for me, but it’s not a complete system with that lens.

Our company- Absolute Reg LTD uses Asana to plan a large portion of our business projects. It is a comprehensive software that maps out all our ideas and organizes important project details in a singular space. The advantage of using Asana is its ease of maneuver. You can effortlessly utilize it in less than ten minutes both in the browser and via the app. Another great feature of Asana is its customizability. That means it enables our team to personalize solutions that meet our needs and desired outcomes. This feature alone has helped us deliver better services about our product, increasing customer satisfaction. However, upgrading the software is quite pricey, especially if you want to unlock specific features that are not available in the free version.

At DebtHammer, we use Asana for project tracking. For us, the most useful pros are the number of integrations (there are a ton), the ability to customize dashboards as we need, the ability to easily prioritize within it, and the collaboration tools. For cons I would say it's not easy to learn. I'm also disappointed there's no time tracking. It would be nice to have that in one app.

My company Code Galaxy went with Asana. Prior we were using a number of different types of software to keep track of all different aspects of business. When things went sideways, I was lucky to have an IT department implement changes that have enabled my team to connect with each other from anywhere and track every aspect of projects, from initiation to completion. We use Asana but we're probably going to switch to something else soon. We keep Asana around because everyone is familiar with it now, but I'm growing frustrated by the lack of options. It's customizable only up to a certain point and it's just not pulling its weight the way I need it to. The lack of time tracking is a big issue in particular.

At Ardent Growth, we use Asana as Project Management software. I'm a big fan of Asana. As a team productivity tool, I have experienced first-hand how it makes our team stay on-task and be very organized. It also keeps us focused on tasks in one spot and makes it easier for me to assign them to different members working on various projects. The best thing about Asana is its flexible interface. Whether you have a micro-team working remotely or a large staff to manage, everyone can easily get engaged in the app because of its user-friendly features.

Asana pros: tags, deadlines, option for multiple boards (projects), easy-to-operate system, clear vision of the whole project. Asana is super intuitive and basic - the UX design allows you to work smoothly and comfortably. For every change that is made or comment that is left by any of the team members, I immediately receive an email.

Asana cons: Asana works with keyword combinations. Once I clicked something by mistake and the software moved all of my tasks to a mutual board. We have to be careful with the key combinations.
